Organizing lobby testimony linked utility holding company funds to Metropolitan Edison. House Ways and Means backed an inheritance tax proposal.
In Cherryville on July 23 officers raided the same home twice in six days and reported finding liquor. J. T. Hull allegedly disputes the superstition while detained behind bars.
