Dogs Sacrificed to Save Lives of Soldiers at Ft. Bragg
At Ft. Bragg the Army uses dogs as medics to save human lives in Viet Nam style warfare. Dogs undergo anesthesia, a ballistics wound, and a three hour operation before a leg is amputated and the animal is euthanized. The program aims to train Special Forces medics who care for soldiers and aid allies.
