High Point Area Weather Forecast Through Monday
Area forecast shows increasing rain chances with mild humidity. A 20 percent shower chance on Friday and tonight may bring thundershowers. Saturday warms to upper 80s with possible afternoon storms. Tonight lows near upper 70s and Friday highs near upper 80s. Sunday and Monday cooler with chances of thundershowers and lower temperatures in the 80s. Temperatures will range from 60s to 90s along the North Carolina coast.

The Washington Post reported that just before becoming Treasury secretary in 1957 Robert B. Anderson completed a deal with oil men to gain nearly 1 million dollars. About 270000 was to be paid during Eisenhower’s term, with another 450000 possibly tied to oil prices.
