Opera Institute selects Miss Patton for scholarship
Donna Patton soprano and UNC Chapel Hill senior wins a scholarship to train for an operatic career at Chapel Hill. Norman Cordon, director, outlines program expansion and aims to train one or two grand opera talents with private support and extended study. Patton, Montana native, has performed widely and will focus on music and language training after graduation.
