Taro Sisters Shine In Horse Shows Across Two States
Adelaide Wendler profiles Joan and Elaine Taro of Kernersville who have earned over 100 ribbons and trophies in North Carolina and Virginia shows. Joan, 10th grade at Ragsdale High, recently won a silver bowl at Kernersville’s Fourth of July show riding King’s Show Girl, and plans to keep it permanently. Elaine, pursuing a business administration degree at Woman’s College, intends to stay with western saddles while supporting her sister. The Taros train at home, show with Piedmont Riding Club, and share a strong family ethos that fuels their ongoing success.
