U S warplanes hit Communist convoys moving men and supplies from Manchuria toward the front as light patrols and a looming cease fire marked the day. Fifth Air Force night raiders damaged at least 100 enemy vehicles along a 95 mile front, hit three airfields, and supported UN forces near Chorwon Kumhwa and Pyongyang amid heightened fighting. Northwest on Inje Yanggu and Kumhwa fronts enemy probing attacks faded after two hours.
