July 6 report shows 94.79 miles added to state highway work under the North Carolina Highway Commission. Total under contract reaches 130.02 miles costing about 3.58 million dollars. Construction totals now 1,927.35 miles costing 36.2 million. Including prior efforts, 1,207.81 miles completed at 18.68 million, with overall system at 3,170.48 miles. Projects let this week span Wilson, Greene, Pitt, Craven, Granville, Person, Harnett, Montgomery, Avery, Burke, Henderson, Graham, and other counties, involving concrete, macadam, grading, and topsoil across 19.69 miles to 11.58 miles of various road types.
