Winners Of Golf Announced At Emerywood Event
A Scotch foursome tourney at Emerywood Country Club concluded with prize awards at a buffet. Low gross honors went to Mrs. Hutchens and Larry Marsden, with other place winners including Mrs. Bryant and Bob Lutz, Mrs. Morris and John Diffendal. Low net winners were Mrs. Brigman and Bob Bencini, and the couple pairing of Miss Sheloff and Bob Craver claimed first in that category. The scene included attendants in aqua lace gowns and red rose cascades, while a wedding reception featured Mrs. Black as the bride and Tilman Thomas as third. The bride, now Mrs. Black, is a graduate of Charlotte Memorial School of X-ray Tech and works at High Point Medical Center. The groom, a West Davidson High School graduate, works for Mallory Battery Co. in Lexington. they plan to reside in Lexington.

Openhouse honored Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Pierce and daughter Jeriann Brene of Hayward California. At 503 Hayworth Circle they hosted a 3 to 5 pm reception with about thirty guests. The Pierces, on a one month visit, depart Saturday as Mr. Pierce works as a nuclear engineer at the University of California.
