City Council Bans Sunday Alcohol Sales Despite Opposition

The ban, supported by ministers and city officials, draws opposition from Army beer dealers led by attorney T J Gold Sr and from some grocers. Col Robert C Glasburn warns the measure may drive dives to the outskirts and mischief beyond the city.
