London July 1 Capt Anthony Eden announced in the House of Commons that Premier Mussolini refused a British offer to cede a strip of Somaliland to Ethiopia to gain access to the sea. Raleigh July 1 New motor vehicle sales in North Carolina for the first six months of 1935 totaled 32,087 up from 23,943 in the same period last year. Sales included 25,973 cars and 6,114 trucks. June figures show 3,048 cars and 569 trucks sold, a drop from May and June of last year.
