Supreme court upholds airport funding by counties and cities
North Carolina Supreme Court in Raleigh affirmed that the treasurers of High Point Greensboro and Guilford County may contribute to the Greensboro High Point Airport Authority. The decision allows a total 72 000 with 25 000 from High Point 20 000 from Guilford County and Greensboro share unspecified. Justice Seawell partially dissented noting no clear bar to appropriations while Denny concurred that tax monies were not involved.
