Allen W. T. Davis, 94, of Birmingham, died in a downtown hotel room after living there since 1927. He bequeathed about 1 million dollars to three eye foundations and Goodwill Industries in Kentucky, Tennessee, and Alabama, with executors noting the estate will take time to value.
