The Piedmont Triad Regional Comprehensive Health Planning Council approved the High Point Memorial Hospital eight bed coronary unit but urged a 33 to 50 percent cost cut. They said latest equipment costs are exorbitant, more than double others. Memorial seeks about $150,000 in HEW funds to buy electronic monitoring and mobile gear to deliver rapid emergency care.
