The bride wore a formal gown with a pearl headpiece, her brother Roger Davis gave her away, and a reception followed in the church hall. The bride is a nurse at High Point Memorial Hospital. the groom, former U S Army and GM School attendee, works for Lyles Chevrolet. They will live on Route 5.

Betty Gwynne White and Robert William Hill married yesterday at Trinity Memorial Methodist Church. Rev. Aaron Moss presided at 5 pm. The bride, daughter of Francis E. White and William Hill, wore a white satin gown with alencon lace and carried white roses with a white orchid. Attendants wore cranberry velvet, silks, and pink rose bouquets. Best man was the bridegroom’s father. ushers included Zack Lowe and others. The bride holds an A B degree from Meredith College. the groom is a Guilford College senior majoring in sociology.
