Napkin Fold Handy For Buffets
A simple napkin fold creates a pocket to hold silverware at the buffet. Open the napkin to a square, crease and fold to form overlapping upper folds, then fold sides to create a pocket. This keeps utensils ready for guests and speeds buffet lines.

Thompson Way Lets Chapels Dry Silica Method Take Root
Mrs. Thompson and her husband, an electrical engineer, with Dr. William Moore, a Durham chemist, developed a flower drying method. The process uses blue silica gel in a round tin, layering flowers, then sealing and waiting a week. For longer stems, florist wire strengthens them, and jars store the silica gel for reuse after reheating to pink and blue.
