Dr. A C McIntosh, Kenan professor emeritus of the UNC law school, died in a Durham hospital after six months illness. A native of Thomasville, he was 79 and played a key role in North Carolina law, editing major casebooks and a 1929 treatise cited by the state Supreme Court. Surviving: widow Carolina Jackson Seagle, daughter Mrs. Fred Page, and two sons Edwin S McIntosh and Andrew C McIntosh.
