Thomasville Guard Role Indefinite
Captain Leroy E. Jenkins head of the Thomasville National Guard said no definite unit type is set. He denied orders to switch from artillery to infantry and noted only verbal instructions to cease artillery training. He suggested the High Point artillery group may have influenced the report and that Thomasville could become infantry, infantry support, or transportation.
