Noted Artists in Concert Given by Club Last Night
Two state renowned artists and several locals performed at the Musical Arts club concert at the Sheraton. Miss Genevieve Moore opened by praising the club founded three years ago to enrich High Point culture. Performers included J Foster Barnes baritone of Greensboro and Miss Florine Rawlins. The Choral society contributed several choruses as Mrs T B Whitaker and Miss Rawlins sang solo numbers with notable technique and expressiveness.
