Governor Scott to Push Interstate 40 Extension to Wilmington

Governor Bob Scott will meet Washington officials including Transportation Secretary Volpe and Federal Highway Administrator Turner to press extending Interstate 40 to the North Carolina coast at Wilmington. The talks include Sen. B. Everett Jordan and Rep. David Henderson, with Wilmington delegates. Scott will also address federal programs affecting North Carolina and visit congressional offices.

Mansfield doubts Congress will fund Laos Cambodia actions
