Week End Slackening of Attendance at Market
Attendance at the southern furniture market eased as the week-end approached with about 500 for the first week. Nearly 150 buyers registered yesterday, 125 exhibits were viewed on Wednesday, and firms are sending buyers to handle work once done by others. Rug exhibitor Wolf and Crane reported strong sales, with A G Douglas noting the best two days in five years. A permanent distributing agency has operated here for a year.
