Blast Turns Youth Into Human Torch
Jerry Thompson seventeen years old suffered second and third degree burns after a five gallon cleaning fluid can exploded in his hands. He ran from the shop and crashed through a quarter inch glass window of a drug store before being subdued by Eddie McGill who smothered the flames with his coat. He was taken to High Point Memorial Hospital for treatment.
