White man and negro flee after break-in at Wilhelm home
In Salisbury on January 19 a white man and a black man broke into T. A. Wilhelm’s South Fulton Street residence about 69 o clock. Mrs. Wilhelm, with a child, was threatened and a pistol aimed at her. The loaded pistol had been left on the mantle. The suspects were later seen boarding a southbound train and were apprehended in Concord.
