Davidson County To Hold Courthouse Dedication
Davidson County holds dedication ceremonies this afternoon at the new courthouse on W Center Street starting at 3 p.m. U S Sen Sam J Ervin is set to deliver the principal address with many dignitaries invited for the open house. The modern building replaces the old 1646 structure and includes a connected jail, marble glass front, two court rooms, and spacious parking. First use of the Superior Court room occurs tomorrow with Judge Hubert F E Olive presiding.
