The Atlanta post office awaits the rightful recipient for $500 found in a dead letter envelope marked Merry Christmas. The cash, in new fifty twenty and ten dollar bills, was addressed care of general delivery to a North Carolina post office from a Georgia town. Postmaster Len F Livinston says the sender and addressee are unknown and the money will be kept 12 months before transfer to the Washington general fund.
