Physicians Back Methodist Hospital Plan For High Point
The industrial committee of the Commercial club endorsed a new $150000 Methodist hospital for High Point. Three doctors urged benefits to the city and state and presented a plan to raise $40000 with half pledged by local physicians. A furniture exposition building was also sent to the Southern Furniture Manufacturers Association for review as two investors seek to erect a large exposition hall with talks of a five year lease.
