No Results In Marie McDonald Kidnap Probe
Los Angeles police chief William H. Parker says ten days of inquiry into Marie McDonald's claim of being kidnapped from her Encino home yielded absolutely negative results. Forensic chief Ray Parker reports no footprints or skin traces, no physical evidence found, and no substantiation of the tale. A $5,000 reward was posted for information leading to arrests. Attorney Jerry Giesler argues a lie detector test would harm the case and jeopardize witnesses.
