Promoters seek stock sale to fund Cardinal House store

Promoters of a major High Point department store extension have pushed the option on land between Wrenn and Hamilton streets. Exercise hinges on stock subscriptions reaching 300000 dollars after surpassing 200000 dollars in sales. Cardinal House Inc. would rise on the old Lewis Motor Co and nearby sites for New England Mutual Life’s Hall of Fame in 1961.
