Oliver Spencer Farlow a 43 year old silk mill employee and resident of the city is charged with the murder of his estranged wife Mrs Jessie Cox Farlow 31 shot to death in her apartment at 516 White Oak Street shortly before 9 last night. He was apprehended three hours after the shooting at his mother's home near Glenola and brought to High Point for questioning. Coroner Dr Freeman ruled death from a heart wound and detectives say Farlow admitted being in the apartment but offered conflicting versions.
