Berlin claims sinking of 4000-ton Soviet transport

Berlin reports German warplanes sank a 4000-ton Soviet transport and damaged three merchant ships and a light cruiser in the Black Sea. Fighting narrowed to Crimea and southern front sectors with continued high violence on the Russian front. The transport and cruiser were said to have been hit during attacks on Sevastopol and Feodosiya near Crimea’s Werch peninsula.
