Polish Exile Leader Recalls Dunkirk Escape and War Efforts
The memoir recounts a perilous 1940 escape from France via St. Jean de Luz aboard the Polish ship Batory, the collapse of France, and later work reorganizing the Polish underground in London. It covers missions to Canada and the United States with Sikorski, U S involvement, and speeches defending democracy against communism. The narrative ends noting Paderewski's wartime plea and a new air navigation tech development.
