Slaying of Mrs Jones Leads to Murder Charge
Wright W. Jones, 58, admits killing his wife with a hatchet and knife in their Greensboro home at 1507 North Hamilton Street. He was guarded at Memorial hospital with razor wounds after a murder warrant was issued. coroner calls it a murder. Mrs Jones, 55, died from two deep chest wounds. Their children Wendell and Celeste Jones reported the scene and funeral plans were announced.
