Passion Play to be staged in Charlotte by Freiburg Players
The Freiburg Players of Germany will present the Passion Play in Charlotte January 9 to 11 at the new armory. About 400 performers, including George Fassnacht Jr as Christus and his father as Judas, will join a 150 voice choir. The event is endorsed by local chambers and clergy and is expected to draw the Carolinas’ largest theatrical audience.
