Flower Show Committee Named at High Point Council meeting
Mrs. James Fox presided yesterday at the High Point Council of Garden Clubs meeting in the public library. Mrs Turner Installed As Double M Club President
Mrs J J Turner was installed as president of the Double M Club at the YWCA meeting. New officers include Mrs H L Voelkert vice president Mrs George Bouldin second vice president Mrs F D Kearns recording secretary Mrs Charles Sanders corresponding secretary and Mrs Clyde Campbell treasurer. The club voted to set aside reserve funds to aid in purchasing furnishings for the new YWCA and honored past president Mrs Edgar Snider with a cream and sugar service.
