Raleigh reports flue cured tobacco prices mostly declined on the old and middle belts with only a few lower quality red grades rising from 1 to 2 dollars per hundredweight. Leaf grades fell up to 3 dollars while lugs and cutters lost 1 to 4 dollars. some leaf and smoking leaf recovered 1 to 4 dollars. No sales data from the eastern North Carolina belt.
