Control Water Resources Power Plant Controls Urged

It finds thermal plants, while currently small in water impact, will grow, with cooling needs rising 67 percent by 1990 and plants accounting for about 90 percent of that increase. The study notes wastewater and industrial plants require upgrades, flood regulations lag, drainage damages farmland, and sub-surface water monitoring is far from adequate.
