High Pointer Killed When Truck Overturns
One man died and another was hospitalized after a truck they occupied overturned on Highway 62 at 10 15 a m near High Point 62 Kersey Road intersection. Donald Ray Mann 31 of 722 Prospect St died from skull injuries. Luther Carl Martin 58 of Rt J Kernersville was treated at High Point Memorial Hospital. The single vehicle crash remains under investigation with no charges yet filed. Mann was born October 3 1931 in Guilford County and was a long distance driver for Perkins Glue Co.
