Selecting Jury in Murder Case

Greensboro January 5 Special Selection of jurors to hear the murder charge against Clyde Morris of High Point began in Superior Court. By noon 11 jurors were chosen. Court reconvened at 2 30 for completion of the panel and evidence. Morris may plead self defense after allegedly shooting B 8 Garbee at the latter's High Point home following a pursuit of his wife.

Congress Activities Today Include Swearing In Members

Today House and Senate members meet separately at noon to swear in new members notify the president they are in session and arrange a joint meeting tomorrow. Rayburn backs FDR's program as House floor leader

Representative Sam Rayburn pledged full cooperation with President Roosevelt's legislative agenda after winning the House floor leadership vote. Man Fatally Burned In Fire In Indianapolis
