Funeral services for Marcellus Eccles son of P L and Mary Eccles will be held at 632 Fast High Street Friday at 2 o'clock. The obituary notes his color and family background as part of the service details.
The Bryant Electric Company of High Point North Carolina secured a 10875 contract for an electrical distributing system at the Quantico marine base flying field as part of Navy Department improvements totaling over 60000 dollars announced January 4 19.
B F Johnson, previously a building and loan examiner for the state insurance department, resigns Ellis from the High Point Perpetual Building and Loan Association after Ellis retires for health reasons. Johnson, a Georgia native long based in Greensboro, will move to High Point with his wife and child and assumes duties immediately.
