Julie Talbert A Camp Fire Hero Helping Deaf And Mentally Retarded Youths
Julie Talbert a 16 year old Camp Fire member from Salem Oregon has logged over 400 hours helping deaf and mentally retarded children. She works as a horizon club member and guides buddies during 500 acre camp outings and visits state schools. Julie plans to study special education after high school and believes one to one care helps individuals overcome limits.
