About W D English and His Dogs
Dewey English, famed dog trainer from High Point, built kennels after inheriting funds from Commodore Hower. He has trained over 1,000 dogs and produced about 100 field trial winners in the last four years, handling roughly 150 dogs per season at his South’s renowned kennels. He values dogs with style, endurance, and hunting range, counting Sports Peerless and Tipps Manitoba Jake among his notable charges.
