Two Men Visit White House But No Reception Held
J. W. Hanefeld and J. W. Blaisdell visited the executive mansion for the New Year but found no reception underway. Hanefeld noted he came to keep his record clear after last year’s attempt to lead the line. Blaisdell, Civil War veteran, recalled attending Lincoln era events and wished to see the house again.
