WARF FOREST UP police reported 45 year old Beddingfield found missing a week earlier. Mrs Beddingfield is named but details remain unclear as police continue their investigation into the disappearance.
Coroner Walter J. Melvin suggested a breakthrough may come tonight in the homicide inquest but did not set a new time. He did not specify when the inquest would resume.
Raleigh reports highlight items for January 1952 including hunting season openings a Christmas celebration on the Outer Banks and a state Republican dinner priced at 100 per plate reflecting the month’s events and social calendar.
