Spot Check Finds IRS Gives Vague Wage Price Guidance

In Los Angeles a clerk suggested promotions to justify higher raises, risking penalties. New York misstated posting rules and profit limits. Boston noted limits on profit margins but omitted exemptions. The findings prompt questions about enforcing wage price guidelines and IRS monitoring has begun a internal review.
