Mistrial Ordered In Dexter Welborn Case Re-Trial Wednesday

The case ended without a verdict as jurors failed to agree after three days of testimony. Dexter Welborn, linked to a fatal wreck near Love's Church, faced charges in three cities and denied driving the car that struck a tree, while federal officers testified the vehicle carried 116 gallons of whiskey. The trial recessed for the night with the jury unable to reach a verdict.
