High Point Attorney Fined for Assault in Municipal Court
Walter Royal a notable High Point attorney and mayoral candidate was found guilty of assault on jeweler T. W. Hilliard in municipal court. He received a $50 fine plus costs and appealed to Guilford superior court with a $250 bond. Hilliard testified Royal struck him after a dispute over a bill.
