Engagementes Announced Across Three Virginia Cities
Miss Barbara Jean Easter and Bruce Hampton Strowd announce their engagement in Thomasville. Barbara is a senior at Appalachian State Teachers College in Boone. Bruce is employed by Lilly Co. in High Point. They plan to wed May 31 at Emanuel United Church of Christ. Cecelia Ann Boggs and Carl Burgess Leonard plan an April wedding. Cecelia is a Central High School graduate employed by Scott and Williams Inc. He is a graduate of Ragsdale High School and works for Union Bay Camp Corp. Rita Jane Kyle of Roanoke engaged to James Gordon Yager of Somerset. Rita studied at Roanoke Extension of the University of Virginia and attended Longwood College. Yager, a Virginia Tech graduate, serves at Ft. Jackson, D.C. They plan a June wedding.
