Greensboro Bank Theft Arrest Made
A 38 year old Durham man, Phillip Merrill Whichard, was arrested in Durham on charges of robbing the Summit Avenue Branch of the Bank of Greensboro of about 29 906 dollars. FBI agents and local police arrested him at his Durham home after an intensive probe into the January 21 daylight robbery. He used the alias P M Richards and faces a March 6 court appearance with bond set at 100 000.

Cole described persecution by North Carolina officials and newspapers and derided Jews Catholics and integrationists while praising South Carolina Governor Timmerman.
