An 18 passenger crew of three on a Piedmont Airlines F27 made a successful belly landing at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base after only part of the tricycle landing gear could lower. Capt. Washington AP reports two new government findings show a continued economic lag. Industrial output fell for the sixth straight month in January while personal income declined for the third month.
