Thirty officers from police, sheriff, and highway patrol scoured Guilford, Ioh, Forsyth, and Davidson counties chasing seven Polonia Prison Camp escapees. A stolen U S 203 car linked to the fugitives was sighted near Thurston Street but the search found no suspects. Chief W G said no clues on whereabouts since the abandoned car was found yesterday. The operation was directed by Oscar Pitts and J W McMahon with deputies under J F Green and others continuing efforts.
