D H Southern of High Point died after a long illness. Survived by wife Kate S Southern of the home, three sons Jerry in Dublin VA Bobby and Phillip of the home, a daughter Shirley Stratton, seven grandchildren, four sisters and a half brother. Funeral 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Sechrest Chapel with burial at Guilford Memorial Park. The body remains at Sechrest Funeral Home with visitation tonight 7 to 9.
